Northeast Alternatives in New Bedford, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the sales floor, coach budtenders, and ensure KPI-driven performance in a high-volume cannabis retail environment.

This hands-on role partners with the Store Manager to manage schedules, guest experience, inventory accuracy, and compliance, while maintaining data integrity and marketing alignment. Full-time with open availability and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 21+ and eligible to obtain required state cannabis agent registration.
• 2+ years of retail leadership experience; high-volume or regulated retail preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to execute and influence KPI-driven performance.
• Proficient with POS systems, scheduling tools, and performance reporting.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Achieve 100% of bi-weekly ATA (Average Transaction Amount) and TPH targets.
• Actively lead the sales floor to drive conversion, basket size, and throughput.
• Identify underperformance in real time and correct through coaching, redeployment, or escalation.
• Drive exceptional customer experiences through direct floor leadership and coaching.
• Generate and track Google reviews bi-weekly through guest engagement.
• Maintain 100% regulatory compliance at all times.
• Lead daily shift huddles to communicate goals, priorities, and KPI expectations.
• Open and close the store in accordance with security and compliance protocols.
