Job summary

Jobtailor in New York is seeking a hands-on quality control inspector for cannabis flower and pre-roll materials. You will perform incoming inspections, verify moisture and size, and help ensure products meet brand standards.

You will operate packaging equipment, apply labels, maintain CGMP compliance, and complete verification paperwork while supporting a fast-paced production team.

Strong attention to detail, ability to lift 50 lbs, and reliability in a multi-shift environment are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with CGMP and quality inspections preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced cannabis facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of cannabis materials (moisture, texture, quality, size).
• Ensure proper bud size and weigh/pack flowers and pre-rolls.
• Label products manually or with applicator equipment.
• Maintain CGMP and PPE procedures.
• Prepare documentation and verification paperwork.
• Monitor quality and quantity of produced items.
• Operate packaging equipment efficiently.
• Report issues to leads.
