Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to turn demand and supply plans into executable schedules while balancing labor, materials, inventory, quality, safety, and compliance.

You will coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Compliance to optimize sequencing and scheduling, ensure regulatory timelines, and minimize inventory risk. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production environment or similar supply chain role.
• Experience with scheduling and coordinating across multiple departments.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in cannabis production.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate demand into executable schedules.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule across all product categories.
• Convert monthly production plans into weekly and daily schedules by department.
• Sequence production to optimize throughput and protect quality outcomes.
• Adjust schedules based on demand, labor availability, material constraints, and QA timelines.
• Coordinate schedules with QA for sampling, testing turnaround, and release timing.
• Track and report metrics like schedule adherence, inventory accuracy, and labor utilization.
