Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to direct and manage the dispensing of cannabis products to medical patients. You will serve as the onsite medical authority, educating patients on dosage and therapy options while ensuring compliance with state laws.

You will perform drug utilization reviews, stay current with cannabis research, and support the dispensary team through education, orders, and patient interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered and licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the state of operation.
• 2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience with an excellent patient and customer focus.
• Ability to learn cannabinoids and interactions with the human body.
• Working knowledge of inventory and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Be in-store at all times during scheduled shift to dispense cannabis products.
• Assess patient certification to monitor restrictions and advise best treatment course.
• Drive retail sales and patient retention.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and laws.
• Communicate restrictions with dispensary team to manage product selection/quantity.
• Provide timely and accurate medication information to patients in person and by phone.
• Educate patients about cannabis properties and benefits.
• Consult with patients and assess certification for treatment options.
• Stay up to date on cannabis research and industry regulations.
• Assist with additional dispensary tasks as deemed fit by store manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
