Job summary

Franklin Bioscience OH, LLC is seeking a Packaging Lead to support the manufacturing team in packaging, labeling, and order fulfillment of cannabis products. You will ensure regulatory compliance, production efficiency, and safety while guiding the packaging team.

This onsite role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and works with the Packaging Supervisor and broader team to meet production targets, maintain traceability, and uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of packaging experience.
• Excellent computer, mathematical, language and reasoning skills.
• Cannabis industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day packaging schedules with supervision.
• Monitor production schedules and generate product labels using Nicelabel and ZDesign.
• Conduct primary label inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain communication to obtain secondary label approvals prior to print.
• Ensure label printing jobs are completed accurately and on time.
• Set the pace of the packaging department to meet production targets.
• Troubleshoot packaging and labeling equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assemble and perform primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
• Operate, maintain, and clean packaging and labeling equipment.
• Perform data entry and record keeping for traceability and compliance.
