Job summary

State of Minnesota is seeking a Licensing Review Supervisor to lead the Licensing Staff within the Cannabis Management Office. You will oversee daily licensing activities for retailers and growers, ensuring processes align with Minnesota statutes and rules.

The role involves directing workflows, implementing quality initiatives, and reporting on team performance. Telework is allowed up to two days weekly, with in-office presence required several days per week.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience performing licensing or registration review duties.
• Experience in a lead worker or supervisory role assigning and reviewing the work of others or leadership development participation.
• Experience working with administrative processes, information systems, databases, or data quality and control.
• Proficiency using PCs and applications such as SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Supervise licensing review staff within the Licensing Program for the Office of Cannabis Management.
• Actively manage workflow, assign work, and implement quality initiatives to ensure compliant processes.
• Report on staff performance and identify organizational needs with improvement actions.
• Work on-site at least three days a week with telework up to two days per week.
