Job summary

Vireo Health of Rocky Mountain is seeking a General Manager to oversee all dispensary operations in Las Cruces, NM. You will lead a team, manage inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sales performance while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

The role requires strategic leadership, experience in retail management (preferably cannabis), and the ability to work cross-functionally with other teams.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail management position.
• Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the cannabis industry.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Demonstrated skills in people management and development.
• Strong customer service expertise, including supervising retail associates and handling invoices and cash.
• Proficiency with business technologies including HR systems for timesheet management, time clocks, POS systems, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the dispensary team.
• Ensure daily operations exceed performance metrics and customer expectations.
• Oversee product merchandising and store layout.
• Develop staff schedules to meet business needs and ensure excellent customer service.
• Monitor and improve supply chain logistics to minimize stockouts.
• Ensure compliance with all state and local cannabis regulations.
• Develop and maintain robust compliance protocols and conduct audits.
• Manage the dispensary budget and analyze revenue and expenses.
