Job summary

C3 Industries is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Metropolis, IL location. You will support daily dispensary operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure regulatory compliance, while supervising staff and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to implement sales strategies, coach employees, and maintain store standards. 21+ with background check required; state licenses as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Proven ability to motivate staff and drive sales.
• Experience with POS and inventory systems.
• Must be 21+ and pass a background check.
• Ability to obtain state licenses based on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in strategies to attract and retain customers.
• Drive sales growth, improve efficiency and profitability while delivering customer service.
• Lead by example on floor and at register.
• Track sales goals with reports and data analysis.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Store Manager.
• Participate in meetings and suggest improvements.
• Maintain visual standards and store maintenance.
• Help develop store schedule for peak hours.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Educate staff on product knowledge, POS, loyalty programs, and compliance.
• Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training.
• Ensure adherence to policies and represent store when manager absent.
• Open and close the store, secure premises, prepare registers, end-of-day reports.
