Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor for a part-time role in Lady Lake, FL. The candidate will greet customers, educate on cannabis products, and help with purchases while maintaining compliance and a clean, welcoming store front.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product applications. Must be 21+ and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and comply with local/state/company regulations.
• Criminal background check and state badging may be required.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Ability to use office equipment and basic software (Word, Excel, email).
• Knowledge of relevant laws for the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and education (non-medical).
• Assist customers in navigating cannabis products and usage.
• Build rapport with regular customers to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant store front and workstation.
• Process transactions at POS and ensure inventory accuracy.
