Job summary

C3 Industries, the owner of High Profile Cannabis Shop in Michigan, seeks a Budtender to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, and educate customers on cannabis products. You will greet clients, verify IDs, process orders, and help customers select products aligned with their needs in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in customer service, know POS systems, and can work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling practices.
• Commitment to reaching KPIs on a regular basis.
• Effective multi-tasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and local regulations preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and is 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required state licenses based on work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level service to customers and prioritize their experience.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and conversion goals using effective techniques.
• Greet customers and verify identification.
• Assist with questions on state required forms and update customer information.
• Maintain the waiting room and keep sales floor stocked.
• Educate customers on cannabis properties and product selection.
• Fill online orders quickly while prioritizing customer experience.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate as needed.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay current with cannabis trends.
• Use and maintain POS system accurately.
• Follow cash handling policies and complete daily cash reports.
• Assist with product intake, inventories, and audits.
• Collaborate with management to boost sales and foot traffic.
• Support compliance with dispensary policies and regulatory requirements.
