Job summary

Walker Cole International is seeking a Patient Case Manager to coordinate the end-to-end experience for oncology patients enrolled in personalized cancer vaccine programs. You will serve as the primary liaison among patients, families, physicians, labs, and sponsors, ensuring timely enrollment, consent, data handling, and follow-up care.

You will guide patients through sign-up, manage medical records requests, and oversee sample logistics and communications with the clinical network.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient-facing coordination, preferably in oncology.
• Track record of managing complex, time-critical logistics across several outside parties.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and physicians.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and handling confidential health information.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for each patient, from enrollment through to administration and follow-up.
• Guide new patients and families through sign-up, consent forms and medical records requests.
• Coordinate sample collection and shipping with physicians, pathology labs and sequencing partners, and follow each sample through to results and analysis.
• Send regular, proactive updates on sequencing, manufacturing and administration dates so no one is left waiting for news.
• Answer non-clinical questions directly, and pass clinical or medical questions quickly to the nursing, medical or scientific team.
• Keep accurate, confidential records of each patient's status, communications and open actions.
• Arrange practical support, including travel, scheduling, and help with financial-access questions.
