Job description

Help Patients Access the Future of Personalized Cancer Treatment

We’re looking for compassionate, highly organized Patient Case Managers to help guide patients and families through the journey of personalized cancer vaccine development and treatment.

This is an opportunity to join an early-stage biotech company at a pivotal moment - helping build the patient experience and processes from the ground up while working directly with patients, physicians, clinical teams, and scientific leaders.

What You’ll Own
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a group of patients, families, and physicians
  • Guide patients through the entire journey - from initial inquiry and eligibility through vaccine design, manufacturing, dosing, and follow-up
  • Coordinate medical records, tumor information, consent documentation, and eligibility requirements
  • Manage complex timelines and ensure every case continues moving forward
  • Coordinate sample collection and shipping with physicians, pathology labs, sequencing partners, and couriers
  • Track samples through results and analysis
  • Handle sensitive conversations regarding treatment logistics, costs, billing, and financial assistance with compassion and discretion
  • Coordinate travel and scheduling support for patients
  • Maintain highly accurate, confidential patient records and case trackers
  • Partner with clinical, medical, scientific, and business leadership to resolve issues and elevate clinical questions appropriately
  • Help build and improve the company's patient-management processes from scratch
  • As the organization grows, help train and potentially manage future Patient Case Managers

We’re looking for approximately 2-7 years of experience in a patient-facing or client-facing environment.

Strong backgrounds include:

  • Experience building processes in an early-stage environment
Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Founding-team opportunity - be one of the first Patient Case Managers and help build the entire patient experience
  • Real ownership - manage the patient journey from first contact through dosing and follow-up
  • Significant growth potential - help establish the model for a rapidly expanding case management organization
  • Cutting-edge science - work alongside medical, clinical, and scientific teams developing personalized mRNA cancer vaccines
  • Early-stage impact - your processes and ideas can directly shape how the organization operates

Work Model: Hybrid - approximately 4 days/week in the office initially

Compensation: $100K-$130K base

Equity: Up to 0.05%

Travel: Occasional company-funded travel, including potential trips to a future clinic in Montana
