Job summary

UCSF Health invites applications for a Clinical Research Coordinator within the Cancer Immunotherapy Research & Clinical Translation (CIRCT) Program at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. The CRC will independently manage research protocols, coordinate operations, and ensure data integrity across studies.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, database management skills, and experience with oncology trials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; or equivalent experience/training
• Experience in clinical research or demonstrated research or training experience that translates into a clinical research setting
• Experience with medical charts and electronic records
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for several hours per day; may travel between campuses via UCSF shuttle; stand for long periods
• Familiarity with specimen processing or ability to learn in a lab environment
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local research regulations and guidelines
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and support faculty and staff
• Ability to work with oncology patients
• Ability to work across several programs and multiple supervisors
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills to coordinate with subjects and teams
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Demonstrated knowledge of biological sciences in research
• Excellent database management and MS Office/OnCore proficiency

Responsibilities

• Coordinate single or multiple clinical research studies under supervision
• Manage data collection, databases, and reports
• Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in audits
• Assist with training of Assistant CRCs and maintain study documentation
• Report study progress to investigators and interface with multiple departments
