Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Payroll Coordinator to handle specialized payroll record keeping, maintenance, review, and processing to ensure accurate payroll outputs.

You will manage weekly Canada payroll, learn Workday and related systems, respond to payroll questions, balance weekly totals, run annual bonus payrolls, and handle deductions, verifications, and garnishments with HR collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years payroll experience or equivalent education/training.
• Associate degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Good math aptitude and understanding of payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payrolls and bonus payrolls.
• Handle inquiries via phone, fax, and email.
• Balance weekly payroll totals with lead and resolve discrepancies.
• Audit new hire reports and time/attendance data.
• Collaborate with IT on weekly integrations.
