Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Design Engineer (CAN/LAN) to modernize and transition a government enterprise network. You will design and document secure CAN/LAN architectures, support deployment, and assist operations with fault isolation at a government site in Aurora, CO.

Required TS/SCI with polygraph and 10 years of experience or equivalent educational mix. Prior hands-on routing/switching in large networks (Cisco/Brocade/Juniper) and DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in network design and deployment for large enterprise or government networks.
• Must have DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Brocade, and/or Juniper gear.

Responsibilities

• Interpret requirements and apply standard CAN/LAN design approaches for service delivery.
• Document designs with diagrams, BOMs, cabling sheets, and configurations.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and transition services with minimal data flow impact.
• Provide technical expertise to operations engineers and support fault isolation.
