Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer (CAN/LAN) to support global enterprise networks. You will design, implement, and transition CAN/LAN services, documentation, and secure configurations across the production environment.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and 10+ years of related experience; familiarity with OSPF/BGP, VLANs, and port-channels is essential. Expect collaboration with Operations teams, a focus on secure designs, and opportunities to learn MPLS and WANs.

Qualifications

• Security clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• 10+ years of combined work history and education as required for DoD roles.

Responsibilities

• Interpret requirements and apply standard CAN/LAN design approaches.
• Fully document designs with diagrams, BOMs, cabling sheets, and configurations.
• Use test lab to evaluate new technologies and test changes to production networks.
• Schedule maintenance windows with minimal impact to data flows.
• Provide technical expertise to Operations teams for fault isolation and resolution.
• Develop secure network designs aligning with DISA STIGs and enterprise policies.
