Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Recreation Supervisor to lead fitness, wellness, and youth programs on campus, shaping a vibrant student-centric environment.

You design activities, mentor staff, and foster healthy lifestyle habits across the campus community. You will collaborate with Residential Living and Safety teams, supervise daily recreation operations, and have opportunities to serve as acting center shift manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associate of Arts degree preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years in recreation management or related field with youth.
• License: Valid in-state driver's license required; insurability checks.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Campus Engagement: Plan, publish, and implement vibrant weekly and monthly recreational, fitness, and wellness programs that support student development and promote healthy lifestyles.
• Lead & Guide Staff: Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Recreation Department, guiding staff members to effectively run student activities and maintaining an organized, positive department culture.
• Support Student Development: Active participation in the Extended Training Day Program and serving as a proactive member of the Center's HEALs Committee to elevate campus wellness.
• Collaborate for Safety: Partner closely with Residential Living and Safety/Security staff to maintain a highly supportive and securely supervised student environment.
• Provide Leadership Support: Address student and staff concerns using professional, sound judgment. Serve as Acting Center Shift Manager / Manager on Duty as assigned by center leadership.
