Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Recreation Program Coordinator to work with the Recreation team and oversee a diverse program for students. The role promotes health and wellness by guiding activities per the approved recreation schedule.

Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an Associates degree or 1 year of youth-related experience. In-state Driver's license required; CDL preferred. The position involves supervising students and coordinating community resources.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates of Arts degree or 1 year of related experience working with youth.
• Valid in-state driver's license and insurability required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of a comprehensive and diverse recreation program.
• Coordinate activities with CPP and Social Development, including evening programming.
• Coordinate recreation and leadership activities with Center and local community resources.
• Ensure safe practices and program compliance within safety guidelines.
• Document student participation and accountability during recreation activities.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and materials and control their use; assist with purchases.
• Oversee the recreation department facilities’ appearance, condition and organization.
• Provide quality supervision and management for the student population and enforce behavior policies.
