The position reports to the Vice President and Assistant Director of Facilities Management, with responsibilities spanning vendor coordination, safety enforcement, and long-range planning for transportation services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid Georgia Commercial Driver's License, Class P with passenger endorsement.
• Proficiency with computers and Excel spreadsheets.
• At least 3 years of supervision experience.
• At least 3 years of work-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, initiates and implements procedures for campus vehicle service.
• Plans, organizes and supervises work of personnel in operating, maintaining, repairing, reserving and dispatching vehicles.
• Prepares departmental budgets and analyzes expenses to control costs.
• Coordinates, supervise and participates in repair and maintenance of the university vehicle fleet.
• Schedules all bus operations and motor pool travel.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state transportation laws.
