Job summary

Kent School seeks a versatile Technology Systems Specialist for its Technology Department to support a busy campus. You will join a small team delivering front-line IT help desk service, BYOD device support, and ownership of print and classroom AV systems.

The role requires adaptability, strong communication, and a service-driven mindset to keep faculty, staff, and students productive across multiple environments on campus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a help desk/front-line support in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism.
• Proficiency with macOS, iOS, Windows; comfortable with Chrome/Android.
• Experience with BYOD and classroom AV systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as one of two technicians on the help desk; resolve and escalate tickets.
• Support school-owned and personal devices under BYOD; assist with network access.
• Own print management: PaperCut, print servers, Xerox fleet coordination.
• Maintain classroom AV systems; coordinate installations and vendor service.
