District Human Resources Department seeks a Teacher Fellow to provide classroom coverage and support campus-wide duties. This role serves as a talent pipeline for future full-time teaching openings within the district.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree (or be pursuing one) and be eligible to enroll in a teacher certification program. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for effective collaboration across campus and district leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or actively pursuing degree.
• Eligible to enroll in a teacher certification program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and learning objectives, using appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent.
• Manage student behavior and classroom routines.
• Take attendance and complete required documentation.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional planning and classroom practices.
• Support campus-wide duties as assigned (duty, lunch, dismissal, testing, etc.).
• Communicate with administration on coverage needs.
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development.
• Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
