Job summary

School Of Science & Technology is seeking a Teacher Fellow to provide classroom coverage across the campus and support district-wide duties. This role serves as a talent pipeline, preparing qualified candidates for future full-time teaching openings within the district.

In addition to delivering instruction based on provided lesson plans, the fellow will build professional relationships with students, staff, and families, and collaborate with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required (or actively pursuing degree).
• Eligible to enroll in a teacher certification program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and learning objectives, using appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
• Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent.
• Manage student behavior and classroom routines.
• Take attendance and complete required documentation.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
• Work collaboratively with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional planning and classroom practices.
• Communicate with administration on coverage needs.
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development.
• Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
