Job summary

SST North Campuses in Spring, TX is seeking a Teacher Fellow to provide classroom coverage and support campus-wide duties. This role serves as a talent pipeline, preparing qualified candidates for future teaching openings within the district.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or actively pursuing), eligibility to enroll in a teaching certification program, and strong communication, relational, and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms with all levels of management.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to use computers including district software, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on provided lesson plans and objectives.
• Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent.
• Manage student behavior and classroom routines.
• Take attendance and complete required documentation.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
• Collaborate with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional planning and practices.
• Communicate coverage needs with administration.
• Attend required staff meetings and professional development.
• Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
