Job summary

University Corporation at Monterey Bay seeks a Student Experience and Leadership Programs Specialist to co-facilitate the Service Learning Student Leadership Program on CSUMB’s Seaside campus. The role supports College Corps Fellows, Service Learning Student Leaders, and Pod Leaders through mentorship, training, and coordinating weekly meetings.

Responsibilities include coordinating time sheets, partnering with community organizations, and contributing to the Service Learning Institute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent from an accredited four year college or university.
• Professional experience with first-generation, low-income youth and/or college students.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual or group mentorship to Fellows and student leaders through meetings.
• Lead or co-lead weekly program meetings with focus on team building and dialogues about community issues.
• Coordinate with partners to improve training, onboarding, and recognition of learners and Fellows.
• Coordinate time sheets and reimbursements; manage documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Institute activities and attend staff meetings to support program goals.
