Job summary

The Community Partner Liaison works with the College Corps program at the University Corporation at Monterey Bay to recruit and manage Community Host Partners and support fellows’ onboarding processes.

The role emphasizes partnership development, training delivery, and coordination of events while handling sensitive documents with discretion and collaboration with the Service Learning Institute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university.
• At least 1 year of professional experience working with community partners, nonprofits, first‑generation, low‑income youth, and/or college students.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit new community partners for service opportunities in College Corps focus areas.
• Ensure community partners meet partnership qualifications.
• Provide partners with statewide training resources and required training videos.
• Coordinate regular Community Partner events, including pre‑fall meetings, orientations, meet‑and‑greet sessions, training opportunities, CHP mixers, and communitybuilding events.
• Handle sensitive and confidential documents with judgment and discretion.
• Collaborate with the Service Learning Institute on meetings, outreach events, and program contributions.
