Job summary

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville is seeking a Student Employment Success Specialist to lead campus-wide student employment initiatives. You will align departments with HR, Payroll, and Handshake to improve access and supervision, while promoting student learning outcomes.

The role focuses on building employer partnerships, developing resources, and delivering data-driven insights to enhance the student employment experience across UTK. This position is based on campus in Knoxville.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of student employment, career development, employer engagement, program administration, and assessment.
• Skills in relationship building, communication, consultation, training, project management, data management, and reporting.
• Ability to collaborate across departments, manage multiple priorities, evaluate and improve processes, apply policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate campus student employment strategy and resources across departments.
• Develop relationships with off-campus employers to expand opportunities for UTK students.
• Maintain data and dashboards for employment opportunities, wages, placements, and outcomes.
• Support supervisor development, training, and supervision to optimize student learning outcomes.
• Ensure compliance and accurate reporting for JLD and campus student employment initiatives.
