Job summary

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to help bring the campus store to life. You will lead daily operations, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and support the store leadership team in achieving priorities.

The role focuses on frontline leadership, coaching team members, and fostering a welcoming, service-driven environment for students, faculty, and alumni within the campus community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of retail experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and support daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering exceptional customer service while coaching and supporting team members to create a customer-first culture.
• Assist with opening/closing responsibilities, serve as Manager-on-Duty when assigned, and help ensure priorities are completed.
• Provide day-to-day leadership by assigning work, monitoring progress, and coaching team members.
