Barnes & Noble College seeks a motivated Full-Time Supervisor at our Berkeley campus store. You will lead daily operations, coach the store team, and ensure an outstanding customer experience while maintaining operational standards. The role includes opening/closing duties, and acting as Manager-on-Duty as needed.

The position emphasizes collaboration with store leadership to deliver a welcoming retail environment for students, faculty, alumni, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the sales floor and support an exceptional customer experience.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and serve as Manager-on-Duty when assigned.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coach team members, and ensure priorities are completed.
• Support merchandising, inventory and POS transactions to maintain a ready store.
