Job summary

Follett Corporation is seeking a Campus Store Manager to lead all facets of store operations on campus. You will inspire teams to drive sales growth while delivering an engaging customer service experience and brand excellence.

You will mentor staff, manage financial performance, and partner with the Regional Manager on campus relationships and long-term planning to support store success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
• General Computer Skills.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Vital customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building and ability to influence a team and drive customer outreach.
• Travel: minimal - less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales promotions, events, book signings, and merchandising initiatives.
• Lead in-store course materials activities with course materials leadership.
• Review store financials with Regional Manager and adjust to drive sales; meet shrink budget.
• Review and approve store markups, markdowns, and write-offs per guidelines.
• Ensure asset security and safety of associates and customers; enforce company policies.
• Communicate with campus and coordinate events, outreach, and campus relationships.
• Develop cross-functional teams and coach staff to meet operational standards and drive results.
• Create a solutions-based customer service culture and maintain an exceptional customer experience.
• Oversee cafe or convenience store operations where applicable and comply with health/safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
