Job summary

Follett Higher Education is hiring a Campus Store Manager to lead a campus bookstore operations team in Bradenton. You will drive sales, manage promotions, and build strong campus partnerships while maintaining exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

You will mentor staff, oversee budgets, and coordinate events with faculty and students to support the campus community and achieve growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
• General computer skills.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building with ability to influence a team and customer outreach.
• Travel: minimal (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Execute operating plans and daily operations for campus store.
• Lead in-store promotions, events, displays, and merchandising.
• Collaborate with campus leadership and review store financials to drive sales.
• Manage campus relationships and events, including advisory committees.
• Develop cross-functional teams and maintain accountability.
• Foster an engaging customer service culture and handle escalations.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
