Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Store Manager to lead the campus store, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences on a busy college campus. You will oversee daily operations, merchandising, inventory, and staff development while representing the Barnes & Noble College brand across the campus.

This role requires 5+ years of retail leadership, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, faculty, administrators, and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Experience with retail operations including merchandising, inventory management, and financial management.
• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and deliver exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Own the store's performance, driving sales growth and managing controllable expenses.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop store team members.
• Represent Barnes & Noble College on campus and build relationships with students, faculty, and partners.
• Lead merchandising, inventory management, visual presentation, and execution of company initiatives.
• Analyze sales and operational metrics to forecast needs and improve profitability.
