Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Store Manager to lead a campus store, delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving financial performance and campus partnerships. This role oversees operations, merchandising, inventory, and community engagement on a daily basis.

The Store Manager will build strong relationships with students, faculty, administrators, and corporate partners, ensuring a customer-focused environment and adherence to company standards across all store activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience or completion of the Barnes & Noble College Aspiring Leader Program.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, develop, and manage performance of diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations with a hands-on presence on the sales floor and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Own store performance by driving sales, managing expenses, and analyzing business trends.
• Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop store team members to maintain high performance.
• Represent Barnes & Noble College on campus by building relationships with students, faculty, administrators, and partners.
• Lead merchandising, inventory management, visual presentation, and execution of company initiatives.
• Analyze sales and operational metrics to forecast needs and achieve measurable results.
