Job summary

Follett Higher Education in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a Campus Store Manager to lead all facets of store operations and inspire teams to drive sales while upholding brand and operational excellence.

You will manage relationships with campus stakeholders, review financials, plan strategically, and mentor a team, ensuring customer service excellence and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
• General computer skills.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Vital customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building, demonstrated ability to influence a team.
• Travel: minimal — less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales promotions, events, book signings, and display setup.
• Lead in-store course materials activities with leadership.
• Partner with Regional Manager to review store financials and drive sales. Meet shrink budget.
• Review and approve markups, markdowns, and write-offs.
• Ensure security of assets and safety of associates and customers.
• Facilitate campus/community events.
• Day-to-day communication of store operational activities.
• Develop cross-functional teams and coach staff.
• Build relationships with customers, faculty, staff, vendors.
• Oversee café or convenience store and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
