Job summary

Follett Higher Education seeks a Campus Store Manager to lead all facets of store operations, drive sales growth, and deliver exceptional customer service across a campus store environment. You will mentor staff, manage financials, and partner with campus leadership to ensure brand excellence and campus relationships.

You will oversee course materials, events, and merchandising while maintaining operations, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
3-5 years of retail management or strong customer service experience.
General Computer Skills.
Academic retail experience is a plus.
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Vital customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
Advanced relationship building, ability to influence a team, and customer outreach.
Travel: minimal - less than 10%.

Responsibilities

Drive store results by executing operating plans for traditional and peak periods.
Lead in-store course materials activities and merchandise displays.
Review store financials with Regional Manager and adjust to boost sales and control shrink.
Approve markups, markdowns, and write-offs per guidelines.
Ensure asset security, safety of associates and customers, and policy adherence.
Coordinate campus events, communications, and campus relations strategies.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members to high performance.
Deliver an engaging customer service culture and solutions-based selling.
