In this role, you will recruit and develop a high-performing team, manage budgets, and partner with campus stakeholders to foster student success and alumni engagement. A strong retail background and customer focus are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, including managing business operations and developing high-performing teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Experience with retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, customer service, and financial management.
• Demonstrated business acumen with experience managing sales performance, budgets, controllable expenses, and operational results.
• Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with campus and corporate stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily store operations on the sales floor with an active presence, delivering exceptional customer service and coaching the team.
• Own the store’s performance by driving sales, managing finances and controllable expenses, analyzing trends and improving profitability.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, schedule, develop, and inspire store team members with accountability and collaboration.
• Represent Barnes & Noble College on campus, building relationships with students, faculty, administrators, client representatives, and corporate partners.
• Lead merchandising, inventory management, visual presentation, and workload planning to ensure merchandise availability and a customer-ready environment.
• Analyze sales performance and business trends to forecast needs and achieve measurable results.
• Champion initiatives, standards, safety, loss prevention, and compliance with company policies.
• Foster a clean, safe, and customer-focused store environment aligned with the brand.
