Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking a Campus Store Leader to support a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager in daily operations and sales growth. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain brand and operational excellence across the campus store.

You will mentor team members, manage scheduling and onboarding, and partner with campus relations to execute promotions, events, and course materials activities while safeguarding assets and adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building and ability to influence a team.
• General computer skills.
• Travel: minimal – less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Execute store plans and daily operations for traditional and peak periods.
• Execute sales promotions and events (store, campus, community).
• Review store financials with leadership and recalibrate goals to drive sales.
• Operate cash registers and store systems with safe cash handling and deposits.
• Maintain inventory control and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure store assets' security and team/customer safety.
• Review markups/markdowns and write-offs within guidelines.
• Execute in-store course materials activities with course materials leadership.
• Supervise FT/PT and seasonal staff, onboarding and scheduling.
• Provide coverage during breaks, lunch, vacation, or peak periods.
• Partner with campus relations for events and day-to-day operations.
