Job summary

Follett is seeking a Campus Store Leader to drive sales growth and deliver brand and operational excellence across campus stores. You will lead a team, manage daily operations, and partner with campus leaders to provide an engaging customer service experience.

You will mentor staff, monitor financial metrics, and ensure adherence to safety and cash handling procedures while supporting Market Leaders or Campus Store Managers in store operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience.
• Academic retail experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Advanced relationship building, a demonstrated ability to influence a team, and customer outreach.
• General computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute store plans and daily operations for both traditional and rush periods.
• Promote sales promotions and special events.
• Review store financials with leadership to recalibrate goals.
• Operate POS and store systems, handle cash, and balance cash drawer.
• Maintain inventory control and neat store environment.
• Oversee shipping/receiving and set visual merchandise standards.
• Ensure asset security and policy adherence.
• Review markups, markdowns, and write-offs within guidelines.
• Coordinate in-store course materials activities with course materials leadership.
• Train and coach team members on standards and onboarding new hires.
• Schedule work hours and provide coverage during breaks and peak periods.
• Provide exceptional customer service, greet and assist customers, resolve escalations.
• Support campus relationships and communicate store activities.
