Job summary

Barnes & Noble College in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Department Manager to lead a designated store area, oversee daily operations, and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will recruit and develop staff, manage merchandising and inventory, and partner with campus partners to uphold safety and loss-prevention standards.

You will work with the store leadership team to ensure an engaging customer experience, operational excellence, and adherence to company priorities

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience with leadership, supervisory, or buying experience preferred.
• Experience in retail operations including merchandising, inventory, and customer service.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
