Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional transportation or customer service training is a plus.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to obtain required certifications.
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate university vehicles to shuttle students between campus and designated off-campus housing.
• Drive safely and efficiently, follow scheduled routes and traffic regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during on- and offboarding.
• Maintain records of daily trips, mileage, fuel use, and incidents.
• Inspect vehicle condition and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Coordinate shuttle services for events or route changes.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and transportation laws.
• Present a professional image of the university to passengers and colleagues.
• Maintain work hour flexibility, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Complete annual training on Defensive Driving and Van Safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
