Job summary

The University of Texas at San Antonio is seeking a part-time Shuttle Driver to operate university buses and other vehicles, primarily on campus. You will ensure safe operation, provide courteous service to students and staff, and maintain vehicle readiness for daily routes.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Texas CDL Class B with passenger endorsements, and a current DOT medical certificate or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Vocational Training or Apprenticeship in a related field.
• Valid Texas CDL Class B with passenger endorsements.
• Current DOT Medical Certification or ability to obtain before employment.
• Three (3) years of demonstrated reliability and accountability in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Operates University shuttle buses and other vehicles on assigned routes.
• Provides safe operation and excellent customer service to passengers.
• Drives on campus and between campus facilities as required.
• Maintains mileage and performs minor vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
• Supports special events and adheres to safety procedures.
