Job summary

Tulane University is seeking a Shuttles & Transportation Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for shuttle operations, including fixed lines, Gold Zone, service learning, and charters for university departments and organizations.

The role requires on-demand availability during emergencies and supports management with general operational tasks as needed. A valid CDL Class B and DOT Medical Card are required by date of hire.

Qualifications

• Two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid U.S. Commercial Driver's License (Class B) and must meet Tulane policy.
• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card) by date of hire.
• P endorsement by the date of hire.
• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient transportation for shuttle operations including fixed shuttle lines, Gold Zone operation, service learning operations, and chartered transportation for university departments and organizations.
• Provide general operational support to management as assigned.
