Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Site Supervisor for a school campus in Curtis Bay, MD. The role requires supervisory experience, ability to work outside in the elements, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, with full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). The Site Supervisor will oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and compliance, manage overtime, and ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or licensing.
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving company-owned or client-provided vehicle.
• Preferred: military service, police cadets, or 1 year supervisory experience in security.
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed (staffing, scheduling, training).
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met.
• Maintain overtime to a minimal level or AUS preset requirement.
• Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by inspecting personnel and performance.
• Handle payroll, incident reports, and post orders; assist in security surveys.
• Recommend personnel actions for those under supervision and respond to client requests.
• Provide direction to subordinates and issue disciplinary actions as needed.
• Make recommendations for productivity and cost reductions.
