Dartmouth College is hiring a Patrol Person to safeguard students, staff and visitors on campus in Hanover, NH. The role requires a valid driver’s license, good communication, and sound judgment within standard operating procedures.

Posting is limited to SEIU union members during the first week, with on-site work and a typical 4-10 hour shift across 40 hours per week. The position is non-exempt and based at 5 Rope Ferry Rd, Hanover.

Competenze

• Three years of experience in security.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and be qualified under the Dartmouth College Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Policy.
• Good written, verbal, and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse community.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate good judgment and the ability to make decisions within the confines of standard operating procedures

Mansioni

• Patrol campus buildings and grounds to ensure safety.
• Respond to complaints and complete investigation forms.
• Monitor parking lots during tour of duty, checking for theft or damage.
• Approach and identify individuals when necessary.
• Follow Emergency Procedure Protocols and supervise student/part-time staff.
