Dartmouth College is seeking a Patrol Person to help ensure the safety of employees, students, guests, and visitors on campus. The role includes patrolling grounds, buildings, and parking areas, responding to incidents, and supporting security operations on a typical 4-10 hour shift pattern.

The Patrol Person will work onsite in Hanover, NH, holding a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least three years of security experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in security.
• Valid driver’s license and policy compliance.
• Good written, verbal, and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse community.
• Demonstrate good judgment within standard operating procedures.

Mansioni

• Patrol duties: answer complaints, investigate, and document properly.
• Patrol parking lots during shifts to detect theft or damage and identify issues.
• Approach and identify individuals when necessary.
• Office duties: operate radio equipment and alarms; act as dispatcher when requested; maintain transportation duties for security operations.
• Keep daily activity logs and report incidents to the Director or on-call Dean.
• Demonstrate professionalism and collegiality in a welcoming environment; perform other duties as assigned.
