Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time unarmed role in Lancaster, PA. You will monitor campus areas, provide excellent customer service to students and staff, and maintain a visible security presence while using computers/tablets to log activities.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, incident response, and reporting to site leadership.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet for daily tasks.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and professionally.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate daily activities to Allied Universal leadership.
