Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol) in Philadelphia, PA. You will monitor and patrol campus areas, maintain a visible presence, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

The role offers a part-time schedule with Tue/Wed/Thu evenings, competitive pay of $17.25 per hour, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

Two+ years of security-related experience.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check will be conducted.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following security procedures and campus policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas to identify and report hazards and policy concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
Monitor access points and document patrols, incidents, and daily activities per site requirements.
Assist in maintaining an orderly campus by giving directions and reporting maintenance or access-control concerns.
