Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol services in Lancaster, PA. You will monitor and safeguard campus facilities, maintain access control, and deliver friendly customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

Schedule includes day shifts, with a consistent 8:00 AM–5:00 PM pattern. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring culture while using tablets and computers for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Proficient with computers or tablets for daily tasks and data entry.
• Customer service experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and contractors while following site procedures.
• Regularly patrol campus buildings, residence areas, parking, grounds and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, report entry issues and hazards per site rules.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate activities to leadership and site contacts.
