Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus areas to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional manner.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrol activities and incidents.
