Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings, areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor direction and badge procedures.
• Prepare clear incident reports and logs for supervisors and stakeholders.
