Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Security Guard to safeguard the campus, residents, staff, and assets in California. You will patrol buildings and grounds, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with on-call personnel. Must have a high school diploma and a valid CA security license.

Two years of security experience, First Aid, and strong communication skills are required. CDL preferred; shift flexibility is expected. Excellent customer service helps you interact with residents and staff daily.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Two years of security or related work experience preferred.
• Current California Security License required for CA candidates.
• First aid certification and ability to assist in medical situations.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; team oriented.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency call system and notify on-call personnel as needed.
• Patrol campus, secure exterior doors and monitor vehicles.
• Document incidents and write reports; maintain safety hazards log.
• Provide non-emergency residential services when required.
• Assist with maintenance requests and adapt to shifting conditions.
